Yayyy!! I came across more fun videos!!! 

Here is a video about a cute little boy that has a lot of adventures it's super educational and in... dun du du duuuu... Spanish!! Take a look around the site and you can find some great videos... I think this one is about a whistle... otherwise there are videos about globos/ balloons... etcetera :)!

Ahhh! I found this great site started by a guy named Basho who is... a musician and educator who helps kids learn about the world through the musical exploration of new languages and cultures. A certified bilingual teacher who holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, Basho has worked with children for close to 20 years as a mentor, advocate, and ally. He blends his passions for kids and positive social impact together into unforgettable music, performances, and interactive games.

Here is one of their alphabet songs... they are so cute and fun! Take a look around the website... there are mp3's of all their songs and under the lyrics tab... all the lyrics!! So fun!!! Also check out their blog which will point you in the direction of some other resources!!

Queridos Familias,

Ahhh!! Just a bit ago I ran across some wonderful websites!!! I would love to share them with you, but before I do let's chat:

I've been hearing quite a few parents saying "I think they are saying something.. but I have no idea! I can't understand them!... I need to learn Spanish!" (Something along those lines)... Well you gorgeous parents out there.. here is a fantastic site I found... it has everything from an educational telanovela (soap opera) to the weather in Spanish to phrases of the day... it offers resources for beginners, intermediate advanced learners... it has pronunciation... crossword puzzles, Spanish slang (never too old for that...) ahhh if I'm rambling it's because I'm so excited it looks wonderful I would love for you guys to play around on the site and learn a few things and maybe you and your kiddos can embark on this new language journey together!!!!! Especially if they see you guys trying to learn... just think how excited they will be to learn! So please click click click here to get started! :)

Another site I came across is PBS it's awesome!! Take a look at Sesame Street, Dragon Tales, and Maya and Miguel all of these selections have Spanish options, even with Maya and Miguel you can choose to have the entire site in Spanish! They include videos, at home activities, games... look around see if you find anything you like! The best way to help your kids out (if you are serious about this Spanish thing..) is to get them exposed to the language as much as possible! Enjoy :)

Fun in the Dragonfly room making masks of different zoo animals.

Here we have our kiddos working diligently on them and coloring very carefully!

They color them and then bring them to me so I can put them together, the waiting part... the tough part.

Then we took our masks to the hallways where we could show them off and play around!
