Hi!! So the past few weeks have been filled with review, and body parts! We spent the first couple weeks of the New Year on review and then we spent the last week on clothing which has taken us into the first part of February… I’ll do a different post for clothing, but for now here are our body parts!!!
Kids love our body parts unit, especially with all of our songs!!! I am almost positive a lot of you heard some Juan Pequeño around the house.. or as it is lovingly referred to as “baila baila” I’ll put the lyrics up and a link to the video for those of you interested in learning it too! ;)
or just in case that one doesn't work here is another Juan P link :)
Other songs we sing are:
Cabeza hombros rodillas y pies rodillas y pies cabeza hombros rodillas y pies rodillas y pies ojos orejas boca nariz cabeza hombros rodillas y pies
(head shoulders knees and toes)
In the tub:
En la tina
yo me lavo
los brazos y las manos
la cabeza los pies y el pelo,
ahora yo estoy limpio.
(To the tune of this old man!)
Cara cabeza

manos pies

boca y los dientes
ojos y orejas
y la nariz
y la nariz

Also, on Fridays students have been able to watch the award winning Whistlefritz DVD's it talks about parts of the body and conveniently it introduces some clothing!!! Which was perfect for our clothing lesson that would follow!
